East El Paso Physicians Medical Center's Respiratory Care Department provides quality care in critical care respiratory services, medical-surgical respiratory services and pulmonary function testing. Inpatient services are offered, and patients are educated about their condition and treatment. The department is staffed with registered respiratory therapists and certified respiratory care technicians. The Respiratory Care Department provides education on living with chronic obstructive lung diseases such as asthma, emphysema or bronchitis and provides individualized care to critical patients in need of ventilator management.
